In case you have been hidden under a rock the entire weekend, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge aka Kate Middleton gave birth to a daughter weighing 8lbs 3oz on Saturday 2nd May. Her Royal Highness Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge… I must remind them that there’s already three filling the princess title…

To celebrate the arrival Mothercare have launched three new ranges for your little prince or princess to be dressed to impress for any occasion. We were lucky enough to receive an item of the new Little Brit Cute range to review and funnily enough it arrived on the new Princess’s birth day and so we wore it the day after to mark the occasion.

I’m not the usual type to keep up to date with Royal news and goings on. To be honest, I only knew that Kate was expecting her second baby a few weeks ago. I know the shame! But I did sit and stare at the BBC News channel as the world waited anxiously for news and an appearance of the new princess. I watched Prince George be taken to see his new sister. I felt quite emotional as William and Kate appeared with their new bundle. Of course with Kate looking stunning and rightfully so. It annoys me so much when people slate her for looking so perfect only 10 hours after she’d given birth, she’s royalty for goodness sake and if she had looked like a heap of poop then the media/public would be slating her for that too. Good on her for wanting to look flawless during such a magical moment!

Anyway, back to the new outfit for P3. The All In One is made from 100% natural cotton perfect for new delicate baby skin. This specific outfit has cute spots with traditional British designs; the London Bus, the Crown and the teapot. It has poppers at the bottom/legs and the top is very stretchy. It only costs £8! The whole range is super British with bright reds, blue and white with iconic British designs.

The Little Royals range and the Tusk are very simple and extremely beautiful. The colours are much more subtle and simply stunning I have to admit! The Little Royals is a small line with pretty delicate floral prints that scream old fashioned vintage. The Tusk line has bedding, furniture and clothing all animal related and I’ve blogged about the range here.

So hello to the new Princess!
